Apostille Certification

 In addition to notarization, we also offer document authentication services such as apostille and notarial certification. We can help you navigate the complex process of legalizing your documents for use overseas. The Secretary of State will Apostille or recognize the commission of a Florida notary or a Florida elected official for the following documents: Original notarized documents that have been correctly notarized in English, or have been certified as true copies by a Florida Notary Public. NOTE: Documents must be submitted with original signatures; a photocopy of an original cannot be authenticated. The Florida Department of State cannot apostille or issue notarial certification for any document(s) that is/are issued by anyone other than a Florida notary or elected or appointed official. Federal documents must be processed by the United States Department of State. 

To check the status of your apostille documents, please review your shipping tracking receipt to confirm the date your package was delivered to (received by) the Florida Department of State. Then, visit the Department of State Processing Dates page and compare your delivery date to the current date they are working on. If the state is processing documents received on a date on or after your delivery date, your request should be in progress or close to completion.
